This website will introduce you to the Nightwatchman of Bamberg who was responsible for the safety and peace throughout the night in the UNESCO World Heritage City and former episcopal capital in Franconia, built on seven hills like the antique Rome.

"Hört Ihr Leut'..." has been the traditional call of the nightwatchmen for centuries in the narrow lanes and hidden places in the baroque city of medieval origin on the hills.
